As a Product Manager in Atlassian, you'll be responsible for driving product roadmap, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, interacting with customers to understand their needs, analyze market trends and business opportunities and create a compelling product vision. You'll work closely with engineering, design, project management and marketing to execute on the product roadmap and deliver great software.
- Gather, understand, and disseminate requirements from prospects, evaluators, customers
- Writing detailed feature specifications based on requirements
- Create product roadmaps that maximize business opportunities and support strategic objectives
- Working with the development, design, and testing teams to deliver the best possible product
- Evangelize products through blogging, tradeshows, user groups, site visits, etc.
- Analyze competitive alternative products in the market
- Define key metrics for measuring product success.
- Ensure prompt resolutions for technical and business issues.
- Become a leader of your team and within the company

- 5+ years product management experience in software development
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
- Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise among competing opportunities, balance consumer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
- Proven ability to lead, to take a stand or advocate a feature, and present market facts and data to back up your position
- Experience working in a data-driven environment, ideally with quantitative research experience.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Must be resourceful, self-motivated and able to be successful in a non-traditional entrepreneurial team-based environment
- Experience with agile development methodologies a plus.
- Good natured, sociable, creative and diligent individual who is driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, native English speaker is a plus
